June is a doctor and had experienced anxiety and panic attacks for the past 3 years mainly due to the perceived pressures of her work and perception that she wasn't good enough therefore I have to work harder!'. June had been off work for 3 months and felt that she needed intensive short term work to get her back to work. We worked intensively over the course of several days to help address her anxiety symptoms and gain back control over panic attacks. We used a combination of education about the nature of anxiety and panic and practical techniques to help regain control and with practice reduce the frequency and likelihood of panic attacks. June is now back to work and emails me occasionally to give me updates on her progress, which to date, is very successful.
